Structured Insulated Panels (SIP) Building System

Built to Last, Designed for Comfort, Engineered for Strength -- the DuraVilla Panel system is an amazing alternative to concrete systems that does not compromise strength or durability. Our premium engineered DuraVilla Panels are designed and tested to withstand extreme hurricane winds in tropical regions.  They are virtually immune to decay and attack by termites.

The physical components of our Panel System are joined with our unique construction process, which allows DuraVilla to build beautiful homes in a matter of weeks. The core building structure is clad with your choice of a masonry finish and/or Greenheart tropical hardwood.  Greenheart is world-renowned for its durability under the most extreme conditions.

Product Highlights

DuraVilla Panels

  • DuraVilla Panels are high-performance building panels used for floors, walls and roofs - in residential, commercial, and specialty structures and applications. Each manufactured panel contains an expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam insulation core, sandwiched between and fused to a structural-grade skin of 26 gauge Galvalume Alloy on each side of the core.
  • Our panels are engineered to meet and/or exceed the new Florida and Gulf Coast hurricane requirements, withstanding wind loads of up to 230 MPH.
  • DuraVilla Panels are certified by a licensed Engineer/Architect for structural design and integrity, based on stringent testing requirements and protocol from the Florida Building Commission, ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials), as well as UL (Underwriters Laboratories) extensive testing guidelines.
  • The Panels are fire resistant (up to 2 hour load bearing ratings).
  • High quality and high performance building technology make DuraVilla Panels termite, pest, mold, mildew, and water resistant.
  • We employ a nationally recognized Quality Control Manufacturing Program -- monitored and inspected by independent QC auditors.
  • Building with DuraVilla Panels generally costs about the same as building with wood frame and/or block construction, when you factor in the labor savings resulting from shorter construction time, less material waste and less sorting through wood to find unwarped and untwisted materials. Our Panels are straight, true and plumb.  They don't twist, warp, bend, or deteriorate on the job site due to weather, moisture or similar job site problems.
  • Structures built with DuraVilla Panels go up faster and straighter, helping to keep you on schedule which helps further reduce construction costs.
  • Ours is a building system that's strong, predictable, energy-efficient, and cost effective.  Superior performance results in little or no repair/upkeep costs.
  • The super-efficient insulating properties of DuraVilla Panels mean lower home heating/cooling utility costs.  These savings pile up month after month, year after year.

Greenheart Cladding

  • Greenheart siding does not retain heat.  This helps keep your home even cooler during the hot summer months.
  • Greenheart is an environmentally-friendly tropical hardwood that requires no chemical treatment for preservation.
  • Greenheart has been in use for centuries, and is globally recognized for its strength and durability -- even under the most extreme conditions.
  • Greenheart has a higher fire resistance rating than any other wood in its class.
  • Greenheart is naturally resistant to decay and termites, as well as to marine organisms.
  • Greenheart lumber is approximately five times stronger than domestic species in every relevant physical property.
  • Greenheart lumber is harvested in a sustainable manner, creating a valuable renewable resource. Our Greenheart wood supplier (Durable Wood Products, USA) is very environmentally conscious*.
